At BKRF Publications, we prioritize academic rigor, research integrity, and ethical publishing. Our Editorial Board, made up of distinguished experts, is essential in maintaining the quality and credibility of the research we publish. They are key to ensuring our journal's high standards and commitment to academic excellence.

I. Editorial Board Diversity

Diversity within the Editorial Board is crucial for ensuring academic excellence and ethical standards. A board with varied expertise, experiences, and backgrounds offers a broader perspective in evaluating research submissions. At BKRF Publications, we aim to have diverse representation across regions, adhering to COPE guidelines to enhance the board's diversity.

II. Recruitment of New Editorial Board Members

Potential members are usually nominated by the Editor-in-Chief or existing board members. Every candidate undergoes a thorough review process and must show a strong commitment to the responsibilities before being selected for the board.

III. Editorial Board Criteria

To join the Editorial Board, candidates must:

• Have deep expertise in the journal's subject area.
• Hold senior positions at reputable institutions.
• Possess a PhD in the relevant field.
• Have a strong publication and citation record.
• Commit to upholding research integrity and ethical publishing.

IV. Responsibilities of the Editorial Board

a) Editor-in-Chief (EiC)

The EiC is responsible for overseeing the entire publication process and ensuring editorial standards are upheld. They collaborate with associate editors and the editorial board to shape the journal's vision and maintain its relevance. The EiC's role includes defining editorial direction, selecting content, making final decisions on manuscripts, recommending new board members, and promoting the journal within the academic community. The EiC typically serves for three years, with an option to renew.

b) Associate Editors

Associate Editors assist in managing manuscripts and the peer review process. They maintain content quality, manage peer review for assigned manuscripts, and support the editorial board. They serve for two years with the possibility of renewal.

c) Regional Editors

Regional Editors focus on content from specific geographic areas. They curate regional research, promote the journal, maintain diversity in the editorial board, and contribute to thematic issues. They serve for two years, renewable by agreement.

d) Section Editors

Section Editors manage specific sections of the journal, selecting content, promoting their section, contributing thematic issues, and keeping up with emerging trends. They also recruit new members for their section of the editorial board. Their contract lasts two years and can be renewed.

e) Editorial Board Members

Editorial Board members are expected to contribute or solicit at least one manuscript per year, assist in peer review (reviewing 2–3 manuscripts annually), and promote the journal in their academic networks. Their term lasts two years, with the option to renew.

f) Guest Editors

Guest Editors are appointed for two years to curate thematic issues on emerging research areas. They invite global contributors, write editorials, and promote their issues at conferences and on social media. The editorial office manages the peer review process, while the EiC makes final decisions on the acceptance of thematic issues.

g) Early Career Researchers Board

Early career researchers (within five years of earning their PhD) can join the board to gain experience. They are expected to contribute or solicit articles, participate in peer reviews, and promote the journal. Candidates must have at least five publications in international peer-reviewed journals.

V. Editorial Board Registration

Persons interested in joining the BKRF Publications Editorial Board can apply through email with their detailed CV and motivation to join. Applications are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief, who makes the final decision based on the journal's needs.

Editorial Board members are typically invited, and joining depends on the journal's requirements and the EiC's discretion.
