Templates & Checklists

Everything you need to prepare a JHHWB submission: manuscript templates for every article type, the reporting-guideline checklist for your study design, and the author forms we ask for at submission.

Manuscript Templates

JHHWB does not use a single generic template. Each of the 19 article types has its own Word (.docx) and LaTeX (.tex) file, pre-structured with the correct sections, word-count targets, and reporting notes for that type.

Word and LaTeX versions are listed side by side for all 19 article types on the Author Hub.

Reporting Guideline Checklists

Authors must complete the checklist matching their study design and upload it as a supplementary file at submission. The checklists are maintained by the guideline authors, so we link to the official copy rather than hosting our own — that way you always download the current version.
